Okay, I think I know how Lina felt now.

You didn't post that, did you?

Yes, actually.

Um... You've noticed I'm not human, right?

I guess I should be glad I haven't been around long enough to have one for me.

Yeah. Does that mean you used to be?

I made a stupid mistake a few years ago. Ever since then I've been trying to break the spell. *he laughs suddenly; there may even be some humor in it* Sounds like a fairy tale, huh?

It does to me. But I can't vouch for your or other's worlds. I believe you, though.

Were you a different person before the incident?

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
Well... you know the sort of teenage boys you hear about getting themselves killed by taking really stupid risks? That was me. All I cared about was having power and having fun. Which meant I needed a shortcut to power.

Logic and the sort of kid I was aren't exactly on the best terms.

Ah. I see.

You sound like a much better person now, though. So, in the long run, do you think it might have been a good thing? Even if... you can't get back to normal?

[identity profile] unluckychimera.livejournal.com 2008-04-23 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
Probably. Still, I wouldn't recommend it. There are better ways of learning that your actions have consequences.

[might have laughed a bit at that~]

Probably.

Still, sometimes I wish I wasn't living through... I think I read something somewhere that called the story "The Beauty and the Beast". And I don't think breaking the curse is going to be as easy as finding my true love - which I kind of doubt is as easy as the stories make it, either.
